Design + partial EPC. Open-pit mining. The first large copper mine with hydrometallurgical process plant in Central Africa that adopts the dual leaching process: “enhanced stirring leaching of soft rock ores by heating” + “heap leaching of hard rock ores by strong acid curing”. Mining and processing capacity: 4,500kt/a, product:40kt/a copper cathode.
First prize of Ministerial Award for Science & Technology Progress.
